Football Recap: Corbin Wins Going Away Against Linton-Stockton

Corbin had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Linton-Stockton Miners on Saturday as they made off with a 42-20 win. Given the Redhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked ninth in Kentucky, while the Miners are ranked 67th in Indiana) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corbin will head out to take on North Laurel at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Linton-Stockton, they will venture away from home to square off against Monrovia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
