Football Recap: Pequannock Comes Up Short

Pequannock was the 28-27 winner over Madison when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Panthers received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-14 to the Dodgers.

Pequannock has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Madison, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Looking ahead, Pequannock will head out to challenge Sussex County Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pequannock will be up against Sussex County Tech's rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Morris Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so the Dodgers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
