Volleyball Game Preview: DuQuoin Indians vs. Wesclin Warriors

The DuQuoin Indians will challenge the Wesclin Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, DuQuoin came up short against Herrin and fell 2-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While DuQuoin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Wesclin waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lions.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-28, 27-25, 27-25.

Wesclin's victory bumped their record up to 22-12. As for DuQuoin, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-18.
