Salem made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cedar Ridge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Salem never let Cedar Ridge get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Greyhounds have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Cedar Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Salem wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 win against Rivercrest on the 22nd. As for Cedar Ridge, they will face off against Mammoth Spring at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st. Mammoth Spring has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.14 runs per game on average), something Cedar Ridge will no doubt try to take advantage of.
