Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Heritage Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Sheboygan Christian Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Heritage Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sheboygan Christian between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Chelsea Poskocil paced Heritage Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Poskocil got some help from Ainsley Ellis and her 20 assists. Poskocil was also a major player on defense: she and Kylie Kruck shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Heritage Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Sheboygan Christian, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-2.

Heritage Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Algoma on the 25th. As for Sheboygan Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
