Basketball Recap: Stanton Takes a Loss

Stanton lost against Sidney back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Stanton Vikings fell 72-60 to the Sidney Cowboys.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sidney, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanton will head out to challenge Sidney at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sidney, they will head out on the road to take on Red Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Sidney's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
