Baseball Game Preview: Legacy Charter Eagles vs. Ocoee Knights

Legacy Charter is 0-8 against Ocoee since February of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Legacy Charter Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Ocoee Knights at 6:00 p.m. Legacy Charter has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Legacy Charter is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Geneva, falling 12-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Gaven Arana made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Wyatt Gorby also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Ocoee entered their tilt with Evans on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won three matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Legacy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ocoee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
