After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dayton, Crosby was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Porter Spartans. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Crosby had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Crosby found their leader in underclassman Iyanna Saenz, who had 25 digs. Saenz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last five games she's played.

Crosby's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-19. As for Porter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-18 record this season.
