Nevada Union is a perfect 3-0 against Center since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Nevada Union Miners will host the Center Cougars at 3:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Nevada Union is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since April 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Pleasant Valley 4-3.

Ty Malak was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Malak wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Arnerich, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Center put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Liberty Ranch a 1-0 shutout.

Center's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Nevada Union, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Everything went Nevada Union's way against Center in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Nevada Union made off with a 6-0 victory. Will Nevada Union repeat their success, or does Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
