Basketball Game Preview: San Diego Cavers vs. Lincoln Hornets

The San Diego Cavers will take on the Lincoln Hornets at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in San Diego's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Lincoln has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Saturday, San Diego had just enough and edged Olympian out 67-64. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cavers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Eagles are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln came up short against Fairmont Prep last Saturday and fell 49-39.

San Diego's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

San Diego skirted past Lincoln 56-54 when the teams last played back in January. Will San Diego repeat their success, or does Lincoln have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
