Baseball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Stafford's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Mountain View Wildcats on Wednesday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Stafford now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stafford is set to square off against their familiar foe Colonial Forge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will face off against rival Massaponax at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Wildcats' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Panthers have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
