Preview: Selkirk vs. Inchelium
This week, Inchelium (0-6) and Selkirk (5-2) square off against each other on Friday at 7:00 PM. Inchelium is hoping to get its first win of the year.
Last week, Inchelium took on Northport. Inchelium got off to a sluggish start, posting zero total points in the first half. That put it down 14 - 0. The defense didn't fare much better, allowing 30 points in the second half. The final was a 44 - 12 defeat for Inchelium.
As for Selkirk, it brought the heat last game after its low-scoring effort (zero points) in the match before. It crushed Curlew last week, winning 60 - 12. With three TDs, sophomore Ty Taylor was a significant factor in the success. Taylor was also an imposing presence on the defensive end with 12 tackles. Sophomore Zech Curran was an active contributor as well and provided 145 receiving yards.
