Flag Football Game Preview: Denver South Ravens vs. Denver East Angels

The Denver South Ravens are taking a road trip to take on the Denver East Angels at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Denver South's defense has only allowed 8.9 points per game this season, so Denver East's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Denver South is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Legend, who was ranked third at the time (Denver South was ranked seventh). The Ravens took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Wednesday. The Ravens' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Denver East's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of Northfield last Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Angels in their meetings with the Nighthawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Denver East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Denver South, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 11-2.

Everything came up roses for Denver South against Denver East in their previous meeting back in September, as the squad secured a 40-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
