Soccer Recap: Coffee Takes a Loss

Coffee lost to Veterans back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 5-3 to the Warhawks. While losing is never fun, Coffee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Veterans are ranked 49th).

Coffee has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Veterans, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Coffee will host Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Veterans, they will head out on the road to face off against McIntosh at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. McIntosh's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Veterans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
