Basketball Recap: Goodridge/Grygla Takes a Loss

Goodridge/Grygla lost against Blackduck back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers fell 53-43 to the Blackduck Drakes. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Goodridge/Grygla and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Blackduck, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goodridge/Grygla will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Blackduck, they will take on Lake of the Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
