Nottingham had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Steinert Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Nottingham in their meetings with Steinert: they've now lost nine in a row.

The victory got Steinert back to even at 1-1.

Nottingham has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lawrence on the 9th. As for Steinert, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Hightstown on the 9th.
