Football Recap: Paint Valley Takes a Loss

Paint Valley fell victim to Piketon and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Redstreaks. The loss leaves the Bearcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Paint Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Piketon, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paint Valley will welcome Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Piketon, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. The Redstreaks will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
