Eastlake waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Otay Ranch Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win didn't come easy: Otay Ranch scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Sean Fleming paced Eastlake's offense, picking up 17 kills. Fleming got some help from Michael Jaymalin and his 17 assists. Fleming was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Eastlake's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Otay Ranch, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-16.

Coming up, Eastlake will take on Bonita Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Otay Ranch, they will face off against Torrey Pines at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
