Softball Game Preview: Cabrini Crescents vs. McGehee Hawks

The Cabrini Crescents will head out to face off against the McGehee Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cabrini is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 22 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Academy of Our Lady on Friday. They came up short against the Penguins, falling 8-1. The Crescents have struggled against the Penguins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Cabrini saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Richoux, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, McGehee lost 13-7 to Newman on Thursday. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, McGehee fell to 5-1. As for Cabrini, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
