Football Recap: South Lyon's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Lyon can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 41-27 to the Dexter Dreadnaughts. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Lions, who until this game were averaging 13.55 points allowed.

Skylar McGlinch threw for 163 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes. Brody Tackett was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards. On the ground, Tyler Newton rushed for 27 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Lyon fell to 10-1. As for Dexter, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

South Lyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dexter, they will square off against Carlson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dreadnaughts will need to watch out since the Marauders have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
