Football Recap: Cumberland's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cumberland couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights on the road by a 34-16 margin on Saturday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Pirates, who until this matchup were averaging 12.64 points allowed.

Hudson McElravy threw for 48 yards on five of 15 attempts. On the ground, Chace Farr rushed for 43 yards.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Otto out in front who threw for 135 yards and one TD on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Trey Strode helped Otto out on the ground, rushing for 67 yards and one score on only six carries.
