The West Point-Beemer Cadets are taking a road trip to challenge the Stanton Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully West Point-Beemer focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
On Saturday, West Point-Beemer didn't have quite enough to beat Yutan and fell 33-31.

She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Toelle, who earned five points in addition to seven steals.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stanton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Tekamah-Herman 47-6.
The win got Stanton back to even at 1-1. As for West Point-Beemer, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
West Point-Beemer strolled past Stanton when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 52-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Point-Beemer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
