Tarpon Springs' loss came about despite a quality game from Hailey Johnson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Emily Cartier, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds and eight blocks.
Meanwhile, Palm Harbor University took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-25 win over Indian Rocks Christian. 55 seems to be a good number for Palm Harbor University as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Tarpon Springs bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Palm Harbor University, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
