Bonneville is 0-4 against Sky View since March of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Bonneville Lakers will square off against the Sky View Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. Bonneville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Bonneville is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Kearns on Tuesday. Bonneville put the hurt on Kearns with a sharp 13-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lakers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Hudson Taylor made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryker Allen, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in triples. Wade Larsen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Bonneville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kearns only posted a batting average of .222.

Meanwhile, Sky View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 8-5 to Roy.

Cash Howell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

Sky View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bonneville, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Bonneville came up short against Sky View when the teams last played back in March of 2021, falling 9-5. Can Bonneville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
