Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

If Pendleton County was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Augusta on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Bracken County Polar Bears on Friday, falling 7-1. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Polar Bears earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Bracken County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Pendleton County has already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Bath County on the 2nd. As for Bracken County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Holmes on the 2nd.
