Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central suffered their closest loss since April 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Live Oak Eagles by a score of 9-7. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Live Oak, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Madison Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Live Oak, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ascension Catholic at 5:00 p.m.
