Basketball Recap: Round Rock Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Round Rock Christian Academy lost against Rosehill Christian back in November of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rosehill Christian Eagles. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rosehill Christian found their leader in sophomore Jensen Mireles, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Kopp, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points.

Round Rock Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Rosehill Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Round Rock Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 71-30 loss against Hill Country Christian School of Austin on the 6th. As for Rosehill Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 33-23 defeat against The Christian School at Castle Hills on the 7th.
