Make it 12 blowout wins for the Americas Trail Blazers this season. They put the hurt on Eastlake with a sharp 46-20 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Americas sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
AIDEN MARQUEZ continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds. JOSH PICHARDO was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Americas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
Americas will be playing at home against Pebble Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pebble Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Americas is ranked 93rd). As for Eastlake, they will head out on the road to take on Socorro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Socorro is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
