Basketball Recap: Nute Takes a Loss

Nute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles and fell 62-24. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-16 back in January.

Nute's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Nute will venture away from home to challenge Farmington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they will host Newmarket at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newmarket's defense has only allowed 17.9 points per game this season, so Portsmouth Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
