Soccer Recap: Lake Nona Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Nona can now relate to. They lost 4-0 to the Jupiter Warriors on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Warriors are ranked 19th).

Lake Nona's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-3. As for Jupiter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1-3.

Lake Nona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jupiter, they will challenge Harmony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jupiter is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Harmony a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
