 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Elbert Bulldogs can now relate to. They fell  48-39 to the Eagles on Friday. Elbert has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second  loss in a row.
 Elbert lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Logan LaFollette, who  scored ten points along with six  rebounds and five  steals.  Eli Cornell was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds.
 It was another big night for  AB Ruiz, who  scored 24 points along with six  rebounds for Wray. Ruiz hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaron Tena, who  scored four points along with six  steals.
 Elbert's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Wray, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record  this season.
 Elbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wray, they won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Denver Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on March 2nd. One thing working in Denver Christian's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six matchups.
