Siouxland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the River Valley Wolverines 52-12. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Siouxland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for River Valley, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Siouxland Christian and River Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. Siouxland Christian will take on Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 277 places (337 vs. 60). Similarly, River Valley (ranked 228th) will meet Westwood (ranked 71st) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
