Soccer Game Preview: Christopher vs. Mt. Pleasant

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Christopher duke it out with the Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday... Christopher is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Christopher managed to keep up with Lincoln until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Christopher came up short against Lincoln, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 820th, while the Lions are ranked 340th).

Meanwhile, neither Mt. Pleasant nor Leigh could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-3. Mt. Pleasant's draw makes their record 8-2-2 this season.
