Baseball Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Olympia Titans, falling 17-9. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 15-4 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sebastian Davila made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Patton, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Olympia, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Horizon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against The Villages Charter on the 2nd. As for Olympia, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Lake Brantley on the 2nd.
