If Dow wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Powers Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Andrew Caldwell. Powers Catholic skirted past Dow 63-61 with plenty of help from Caldwell, who went 11-for-23 en route to 24 points and four steals. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Powers Catholic's record is now 15-6. As for Dow, they moved to 13-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Powers Catholic will take on Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dow, they will take on Central in a tournament on Monday. The Chargers will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.05 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
