            Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Gibson County Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Trinity Christian Academy was the  2-1 winner over Gibson County when they last played one another  back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell  2-0 to the Pioneers on Monday.
 Trinity Christian Academy might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Gibson County: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22,  26-24.
 Mallory Arnold paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Arnold got some help from  Edie Allen and her 12 assists.  Brianna Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Trinity Christian Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record  this season. As for Gibson County, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-4.
 Coincidentally, Trinity Christian Academy and Gibson County will both be playing Dyersburg the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Trojans at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 7:00  p.m.
