Basketball Game Preview: North Catholic Trojans vs. Knoch Knights

North Catholic has won six straight games at home, while Knoch has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The North Catholic Trojans will host the Knoch Knights at 7:30 p.m. North Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Knoch likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, North Catholic strolled past Highlands with points to spare, taking the game 69-52. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Golden Rams are ranked 577th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Knoch posted their closest victory since January 16, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Deer Lakes 48-45.

Knoch has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for North Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.
