Baseball Recap: Millikan Takes a Loss

Millikan's tournament run continued when they took on Foothill on Friday. The Millikan Rams fell just short of the Foothill Knights by a score of 5-4.

Millikan got a good showing from Thomas Ramsey, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Ben Keisler stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season. Anthony Pack was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Millikan's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Foothill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Millikan is taking a road trip to square off against Capistrano Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foothill, they will host El Dorado at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
