Elida won the last time they faced Carrizozo and Radlee Ferguson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 68-22 win over the Grizzlies thanks in part to Ferguson, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 19 points and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Elida's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Carrizozo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Elida will venture away from home to face off against Tatum at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Coyotes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carrizozo, they are taking a road trip to square off against Quemado at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
