Basketball Game Preview: Bon Homme Cavaliers vs. Alcester-Hudson Cubs

The Bon Homme Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Alcester-Hudson Cubs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bon Homme will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Tuesday, Bon Homme had to suffer through a 58-28 loss at the hands of Gayville-Volin.

Meanwhile, Alcester-Hudson hadn't done well against Canton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Alcester-Hudson strolled past Canton with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

Alcester-Hudson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bon Homme, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Bon Homme didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Alcester-Hudson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bon Homme since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
