It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Fairless ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Tuslaw Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Monday, they had to take a 8-3 defeat.

Fairless saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Samaco, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Samaco has posted since back in May of 2024. Hunter Dean was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Fairless pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tuslaw, they moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Fairless will challenge Orrville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Red Riders at the right time seeing as the Red Riders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tuslaw, they will take on Medina Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
