Volleyball Recap: Decatur's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

After flying high against Weatherford on Tuesday, Decatur came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Boyd Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Decatur fell to 7-1. As for Boyd, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Decatur has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Salado on the 21st. As for Boyd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Liberty Hill on the 21st.
