Baseball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was the 8-2 winner over Tecumseh when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Princeton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaron Clutter, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Clutter has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Princeton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Tecumseh, they pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Princeton will take on South Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tecumseh, they will face off against Wood Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
