Basketball Recap: Wayne County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wayne County extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cayman Camfield. The Wayne County Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 85-68 win over the Hughes Lions on Saturday thanks in part to Camfield, who dropped a triple-double with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Sayler Skelton, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 16 points.

Wayne County's record is now 22-8. As for Hughes, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
