Knight is 8-2 against Eastside since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Lions at 3:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Knight and seven for Eastside.

Knight is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Littlerock on Friday. They came up short against the Lobos, falling 11-1.

Jonathan Tiznado made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. Johnny Salazar was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Eastside lost 9-1 to Palmdale on Friday.

Knight's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17-1.

Knight took their win against Eastside in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
