Softball Recap: Pomeroy Comes Up Short

Pomeroy fell victim to Genesee and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Genesee Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss leaves the Pirates still looking for their first win of the season.

Pomeroy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Genesee, the win was the sixth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Pomeroy will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Garfield-Palouse at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Genesee, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Clearwater Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
