Football Game Recap: Royal vs. Washington

It was all tied up at the half for Royal and Washington on Friday, but Royal stepped up in the second half. Royal took their contest against Washington 28-21. The success represented a nice turnaround for Royal, who in their last game suffered a tough 11-42 defeat.

The victory bumped Royal's record up to 2-3. Washington are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Royal will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against La Grange in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Washington will be staying on the road, facing off against Wharton. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
