Soccer Game Preview: Sanger vs. Non Varsity Opponent

The Sanger Indians will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Sanger's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Sanger came up short against Aubrey and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 680th, while the Chaparrals are ranked 273rd).

Meanwhile, Non Varsity Opponent gave up the first goal last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 5-3 victory over Hondo. The win made it back-to-back victories for Non Varsity Opponent.

Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Non Varsity Opponent, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 11-18.
