Football Recap: Fremont Starts Season with Victory Against Weber

Fremont had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 42-10 victory over the Weber Warriors. With the Silverwolves ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Cade Hadley was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 115 yards and three scores. Those 115 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Manase Tuatagaloa, who threw for 144 yards and one TD.

Fremont didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Taggart Burton and Cam Graves.

Weber's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of DYSON PARKER, who gained 139 total yards, and WYATT NEILSEN, who rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fremont will face off against Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 843 yards in their previous games. As for Weber, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
