The Lakeview Bulldogs will square off against the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Lakeview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Lakeview came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to Forbush. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Isabella Isenberg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and seven unearned) runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, Lakeview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Bartlett, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

North Myrtle Beach came out on top against Myrtle Beach on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Chiefs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Seahawks a 10-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Seahawks: they've now won four in a row.

North Myrtle Beach got a massive performance out of Kiera Olson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Hadley Leonhardt, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

North Myrtle Beach's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Lakeview, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Lakeview hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.3 home runs per game. However, it's not like North Myrtle Beach struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs.
